ABOUT

Shree Vitthal Rukmini Mandir was built in 16th century by Maratha empire.Presently,The temple and its property is managed by the generation of Shree Manoharrao Shaligram & Mukundrao Shaligram.

The Architecture of the temple is similar to all temples built by Peshwa. The orientation of the temple is such that the face of the temple is in front of Big Lake in EAST direction.In the morning,during sunrise,sun rays are reflected from the water surface and reach into (Garbhgruh) the core of the temple.

This temple is located in Olpad town which is 18km from Surat city on Surat-Hansot-Ankleshwar road- SH6.

देवाचिये द्वारीं उभा क्षणभरी ।
तेणें मुक्ति चारी साधियेल्या ॥
